Retrosuperfuture is the independent brand that has revolutionized the aesthetics of sunglasses. It is also the bet won by Daniel Beckerman, a young entrepreneur who knew nothing about eyewear but who had a good intuition. The world of eyewear was at a stalemate, there were no emerging young independent brands willing to take risks as there was in clothing. It was 2007: tired of a publishing job that no longer motivated him, Beckerman founded a new eyewear company that in a few years has become one of the most interesting and innovative of its kind.
Declaredly fashion-oriented, Retrosuperfuture aims to revive the image of sunglasses with an incessant search for new forms, inspirations, materials, finishes, colors, textures and more. Never boring, predictable or repetitive models, yet bold, unusual and futuristic models. If trendy design represents 50% of the brand's identity, the remaining 50% is a matter of quality. For top eyewear products, Beckerman concentrated its production in Italy, a country where artisanal craftsmanship is a long established tradition.
